Re: A Slayer is Born...

*blink*

Excuse me while I press one hand to my silly little heart and have an attack of the vapours, because I think this has to be the greatest feedback I've ever gotten. Ever.

Uhh...I really don't know what to say beyond a truly sincere thanks. I have no formal training as a writer (unlike many of my friends on the flist) and it is *immensely* gratifying to know that occasionally, I get it right. Writing, for me is largely intuitive. I *feel* the story or I don't. The bones of this one were there and writing this was largely a process of excavation. It was always there in me and it was merely a matter of digging it out. I appreciate the comments about the pacing--that has been a concern of mine--my plotting again is very instinctive. It's not inentional, I'm not that slick. I wonder perhaps, if this would be the time to ask if you do beta work...hmmm.

Anyway, I believe I'll be printing this FB out and posting it by the computer as inspiration. So thank you, thank you so much.

And, may I friend you? If that's not too presumptous of me?
